When Medicom founder Ronald Reuben was just 23 years old, a conversation with a friend changed the course of his life. From that conversation, Mr. Reuben learned that the AIDS crisis had created an urgent need for personal protective equipment for healthcare workers. Following his entrepreneurial instinct and desire to make a difference, he immediately set out to develop high-quality medical examination gloves under the SafeTouch brand.
